HRU Range: InAir™ 250ERU

The InAir™ range of highly efficient Energy Recovery Units are designed specifically for the UK market.  

This series of ERV, with the latest European design, are molded from EPP, the latest eco-friendly material. Lighter, better insulated and quieter than traditional sheet metal models. They feature a special hexagonal heat exchange core-15% lower in height and over 8% higher in enthalpy efficiency than traditiona! square cores-saving over 20% energy in air.

With our optional smart control panel and multi-functional sensors, the system automatically adjusts fresh air operation based on indoor CO2, PM2.5, TVOC and other harmful gas levels and humidity, and offers interfaces to connect with intelligent constant temperature and humidity systems.

Benefits of Heat Recovery Exchanger when used in conjunction with air conditioning;

Summer – when the HRU is used in the summer, the energy of the cold air discharged from the room is used to pre-cool the hot, ambient outside air before it enters the room

Winter - when the HRU is used in the winter, the energy of the warm air discharged from the room is used to pre-heat the cold, ambient outside air before it enters the room.

Mechanical Heat Recovery Ventilation for swimming pool and spa rooms

The benefits of these systems include providing fresh air ventilation, regulating humidity levels, maintaining a slight pressure difference between the spa/pool room and adjacent spaces to prevent moisture migration, ensuring full compliance with building regulations, offering low operational costs, and requiring minimal maintenance.

Installation and Selection
Multiple standards define fresh air volume for healthy indoor air quality.

A typical rule of thumb for living spaces in UK dwellings is around 30 m³/h per person (≈ 8.3 L/s per person) for good indoor-air-quality design.

Installation (Ceiling-mounted total heat exchangers)

  • Keep fresh air intake & exhaust ≥2m apart (prevent backflow).
  • Install near the shortest duct run (reduce resistance).
  • Add a power outlet nearby.
  • Leave an access panel (front/ceiling) for maintenance.

Duct Design:
Verify duct air resistance with professionals. Follow HVAC standards: minimise duct length/
bends.
